Size guide:
Every designer has a different standards for sizing.
Vintage items label sizes vary from today's standard sizing.
We will provide the actual size next to the label size if the actual size is clearly different from what label says.
Please check the sizing and measurements information provided before purchase.

Measurements:
All measurements are taken by hand.
All measurements are done in inches.
All chest and waist measurements are not doubled.
Chest: flat on table across chest from armpit to armpit
Shoulders: from shoulder seam to shoulder seam
Waist: across narrowest point of waist side to side
Sleeve: from shoulder seam to end of cuff
Raglan sleeve: from centre of neck in back to end of cuff
Shirt neck: from middle of button to middle of button hole of the top button flat on a table.
Length of jackets: from base of collar to the bottom of an article
Pants waist: the very top of waist side to side
Inseam: from crotch to hem

Clothes condition:
Most of the items are vintage or used and have been worn unless pointed in description that they are new. Please be aware that due to the nature of these pieces there may be minor faults or features that haven't been picked up when initially listing.
We maintain detailed photos and inspect each item carefully before listing them up for sale. Any important or visible wear is well described in the condition details. If you need to see more images of an item please email us hello@secondfirst.shop before making the purchase.
All clothes are hand picked and have been washed (if allowed by instructions), cleaned, steamed and safely stored.
Most of the vintage garments have been washed or dry cleaned. Any odor that remains is due to it's age.
