The pattern design was introduced for the 1997 World Championship Nordic Ski Events in Trondheim, Norway. The sweater has ribbed bottom and cuffs, round neck and a patch on the sleeve commemorating the championship. There is an interesting knit/purl pattern in the solid black part of the body that resembles the tracks skis make in the snow as you curve your way down the mountain. These team sweaters have become iconic collector’s items. It is a really nice, super warm winter sweater made to last!
