FEATURES: this vintage garment dates back to mid 20th century. It's a long workwear shirt made of durable pre-shrunk cotton. The Bradford Dyers' Association Ltd (B.D.A.) was a combine of Bradford commission dyeing firms, founded in 1898. The B.D.A. was engaged in processing on a commission basis textile fabrics of every kind (natural and man-made). Rigmel' introduced in 1931 was a service operated by the B.D.A. for the benefit of its members. The Rigmel process was a patented pre-shrunk finish for cotton fabrics. Used for military uniforms in WW2.
